Refund Policy

The short version: if an HMG report is not what you needed, email us within 14 days and we will refund you in full. You do not have to explain why, and you do not have to delete or return the PDF.

This Refund Policy applies to one-time digital PDF purchases of HMG County Market Reports sold by ExtraSphere Media LLC. It forms part of our Terms of Sale.

1. 14-day refund, any reason

Ask us for a refund within 14 days of your purchase and we will refund the full amount you paid, for any reason at all — including simply changing your mind, or deciding the report did not tell you what you hoped it would.

• You do not need to give a reason.
• Downloading or reading the report does not void the refund. We know we cannot un-deliver a PDF; we would rather have an honest policy than an unenforceable one.
• Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe. Banks typically post them within 5–10 business days, which is outside our control.

2. After the 14 days

The unconditional window closes after 14 days, but these situations are always refunded whenever you tell us about them:

• You were charged but never received a working download.
• You were charged more than once for the same order.
• We cancelled your order before delivering it.
• The file you received is corrupted or unreadable and we cannot supply a working replacement.
• We got something materially wrong — for example, a report reproduced a figure that does not match the public source file it cites.

Outside the window and outside that list, refunds are at our discretion. Ask anyway; we would rather sort it out with you than have an unhappy buyer.

3. What a refund is not

A refund is not an admission that a figure is wrong, and asking for one does not require you to claim it is. Public federal datasets have real limits — they lag reality, they get revised, and some values are simply not published for some counties. Our methodology and disclaimer pages describe those limits before you buy, and free county previews and redacted sample PDFs let you see the format first.

4. How to ask

Email legal@extraspheremedia.com — or just reply to your delivery email — with the email address you used at purchase and the county or report name. That is enough for us to find the order. We aim to respond within 2 business days.

5. Card disputes and chargebacks

Please contact us before filing a dispute with your bank or card issuer. We can almost always refund you faster than a chargeback resolves. Nothing in this policy takes away your right to dispute a charge — we are only asking for the chance to fix it first.

If a charge on your statement looks unfamiliar, that is worth an email too: payments are processed by Stripe for ExtraSphere Media LLC, and we can identify the order for you.

6. Free content

Free previews, the county lookup, and redacted sample PDFs are provided at no charge and so there is nothing to refund.

7. Changes

We may update this policy. The version published when you bought is the one that applies to your purchase; the effective date at the top of the page changes when we make a material update.
